The Kitchen is GREAT. The Silver Lake neighborhood is a nice place to come to. I had a lovely time, sat outside, which I highly recommend because the dining room is rather small and cramped. Service was average but the pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes was great. As a Missouri boy, I can say that for Los Angeles, they make decent iced tea, too! This place is a good bet for a nice dinner at a fair price.

Coral Cafe in Burbank is the place to come to when you want to have breakfast with the 'locals'. I had a decent breakfast there. This place has been here since the 50's and it shows. They have easy access parking and a decent wait staff. Sit in the dining room at a table or booth. Or for a real 'local' experience, belly up to the counter and share the morning paper with fellow diners as the events of the day are discussed. This isn't elegant, it isn't even Dennys or IHOP. Its cheap diner food, but hey, its clean, and for the money, and for breakfast at least, I think its worth a try!
